Before submitting your profile, please read the terms and conditions listed below between you (Candidate) and us (C&F Yachting). If satisfied, confirm you agree to them by placing a tick in the box next to the statement “I have read and fully understand the above terms and conditions” which can be found at the end of these terms.
1. I consent for the personal information that I have given to be stored securely by C&F Yachting for the sole purposes of recruitment.
1.2 I understand that specific contact information may be passed onto interested clients (employers) of C&F Yachting for the sole purpose of possible recruitment by said client.
1.3 I understand that, with my consent, information such as references or qualifications or other sensitive information may be passed onto interested clients (employers) to aid in the purposes of possible employment.
2. All information applicable to a standard (free) profile will be stored and displayed on C&F Yachting’s website until the candidate informs C&F Yachting that they have either been employed or wish to have the profile deleted. The information will then be amended accordingly within 7 days.
2.2 If a candidate informs us that they are employed, a symbol and/or notice will be visible on their profile for 14 days to indicate employment through C&F. The candidate can choose for this not to occur and instead have their profile taken down within 7 days.
3. The candidate has a right to access their information at any time and can do so through the ‘my account’ section of their profile. This information can also be amended/updated by the candidate at any time.
3.1 If the candidate requires any information that C&F Yachting may hold about them that they cannot see through the website account services then a request can be made to admin@cfyachting.com to obtain this data.
4. Information stored on www.cfyachting.com will not be used on any other site unless agreed by the candidate to do so and will be used solely for the purposes of recruitment
5. Vacancy information and alike is given by the yacht owner/skipper and candidates must satisfy themselves as to the suitability and safety of yachts on which they propose to crew and the competence of the skipper and other crew.
5.1 C&F Yachting have no responsibility or liability for the candidate’s health and safety once recruited.
6. Should a candidate be recruited through C&F Yachting and then find that the job is not up to reasonable working standards or to a reasonable extent, not as advertised/described, then they are entitled to either a refund of their premium profile if previously purchased or a 6 month premium profile free of charge.
7. If a premium profile has been purchased, please be aware that it will expire after 6 months and all additional information entered applicable to a premium profile will be lost unless a new subscription is purchased.
8. When uploading videos to your profile it will be done so through an external video provider. Please note that C&F Yachting has no responsibility for the external link/website and purely provides the function to incorporate this video into the profile.
8.1 If a video does not work due to a problem with C&F Yachting’s website, please send an e-mail to admin@cfyachting.com and we will endeavour to resolve this as soon as possible.
9. Please be aware that any photo’s uploaded that are deemed unsuitable or indecent will not be added to a candidates profile.
10. If for any reason, any part of a candidates profile does not work correctly for more than 72 hours after C&F Yachting are notified then the candidate is entitled to a full refund.

Refund Policy
Premium Profile (for employees): Cost: £11.99 inc VAT – Full refund will be given if notice of cancellation is given within 14 days of purchase. For example, if a premium profile is purchased on 01/01/2009 at 1:00pm, the user will have up until 15/01/2009 at 1:00pm to cancel. Anything over this and the user still has the right to cancel their premium profile although no refund will be given. However, after the 14 days the user can choose to either maintain their premium profile for the remainder of the six-month term or cancel it completely reverting back to a basic profile. To cancel a premium profile, the user can do so through their account section or by sending an e-mail to admin@cfyachting.com, the time that the e-mail is received will count as the moment the refund request was made.
Premium Membership (for employers): Cost: £150 inc VAT - Full refund will be given if notice of cancellation is given within 14 days of purchase. For example, if a premium membership is purchased on 01/01/2009 at 1:00pm, the user will have up until 15/01/2009 at 1:00pm to cancel. Anything over this and the user still has the right to cancel their premium membership although no refund will be given. However, after the 14 days the user can choose to either maintain their premium membership services for the remainder of the six-month term or cancel it completely reverting back to a basic membership. Please note that once a cancellation request is made within 14 days and a refund is given back to the user, C&F Yachting reserve the right to cease any work carried out by the company and its staff in accordance with a premium membership such as interviewing candidates, reference checks and so forth. To cancel a premium membership, the user can do so through their account section or by sending an e-mail to admin@cfyachting.com, the time that the e-mail is received will count as the moment the refund request was made.
